Seven months at the Asian Development Bank in Manila, working as a web developer and designer on aric.adb.org, the Asia Regional Information Center. The site carried news, asset market data, poverty indicators, and other social statistics across the region.

I covered the full stack of what a web project meant in 2001: layout and visual design, navigation, front-end markup and behaviour, and the database that fed it. The work ran on ASP, HTML, JavaScript, and Microsoft SQL Server.

My main responsibility beyond the design and front-end was managing the ARIC Indicators database, the data the maintenance team relied on to keep the site current.
